If you would like to order, then please take the required measurements as seen on the sketch, (or click below to print a copy from a new tab) and email them along with a photograph of the fireplace.
For just a quote, we just require measurements A, B and C.
Don’t forget to include your address and what style/finish Club Fender you would like.
Choose one of the base profiles that you like. Our metal bases are all made from formed sheet. We never use plated metal. The bases also have added strength by way of an extra section of sheet metal that is riveted to the underneath.(Except the Square base)
The wide base with inlay is made from Mahogany or Oak unless another timber is required. The inlay can made from any of our metals and finishes - see Gallery for examples. We can use timber for any of the other base profiles. The small concave base is only suitable for the 'low' style fender.
Top Row: We can make the fender base profile from oak/mahogany or whatever wood you wish. The rest of the fender would be made from metal, chosen from the selection along with the finish. We can make a bench style fender with wooden uprights if requested. The curved bench style has to have the chamfered base. We can ebonise/paint/lacquer/oil or stain the wood if required. The steel and gunmetal are made from pure stainless steel so will never rust.
Our new gunmetal finish will be available mid summer - contact us.
Middle Row: If brass is chosen, then be assured that we only use pure brass. Not plated or hollow. The antiqued (only for fenders under 2m wide) and bronze finishes are applied by hand to the brass in layers so take a little longer to make and therefore cost more. The polished brass is unlacquered so will dull down over time if left alone. We can lacquer if required.
Bottom Row: Our painted fenders are made from mild steel. The powder coating is applied electro-statically and then cured under heat to provide a very hard wearing finish. They are also very competetive in price as they are made from mild steel, as opposed to stainless.
At extra cost.
Ferrules on all of the round uprights or alternate uprights? Central twists or barley twists on square uprights? Groupings of three uprights with a central twist on the central one? Many combinations. See order form for prices or gallery for examples.
